Fountaine Pajot FP 51, the great cruiser reinvented

The improved heir to a success story

The AURA 51, launched in 2022, was one of the first Fountaine Pajot catamarans the most popular in its category: over 130 units sold, a rare achievement for a boat of this size.

Fountaine Pajot has chosen to upgrade the’Aura 51 to create the FP 51. This new model is a fully integrated part of the new FP range, alongside the new FP41, FP44, FP48, FP55 and FPY70S.

The result is an improved, modernised catamaran that is even more competitive in terms of price in the 50-foot market.

A catamaran for every project

With an overall length of 15.91 m and a beam of 8.08 m, the FP 51 is equally suited to families and charters.

Very popular for bareboat charter or charter with a skipper thanks to its generous volume, it is just as popular for cruising and family boating, as it is intuitive enough to be handled without a professional skipper.

Four layouts are available, all with en-suite cabins:

Maestro 5 cabins including an owner's cabin
Full Maestro 4 cabins, including a full-hull Owner's Suite
Double Maestro 4 cabins including 2 Owner's cabins
6 Cabins for maximum capacity

What's new in FP 51

Exterior design
La hull decoration has been redesigned to match the aesthetics of the new FP range.
La exterior saddlery has also evolved, in the same direction as the FP41 and FP44, where it was very well received. The result is a more contemporary, high-quality look.

Helm station
La new standard helm console from the FP range has been integrated into the FP 51. It is now equipped with an instrument support that can accommodate large touch screens like the Garmin 9000 Series, for example. It's a major step forward in terms of ergonomics and modernity.
A hardtop now protects the whole post, with an opening section so you can enjoy the sky as you please.

Fittings and rigging
As on the FP41 and FP44, the fittings have been upgraded The new Lewmar track and ball-bearing blocks are now standard equipment, as is the lashing incidence. This system replaces the hook carver and makes hoisting and lowering the mainsail effortless.
The halyards have been upgraded to high-quality Dyneema, and all the running rigging (reefs, sheets) benefits from a stronger, more flexible sheath.

Rear axle
A new folding bath ladder has been installed, better integrated into the boat's transom.

Electricity
From remote circuit breakers have been added to the yacht's electrical panel, eliminating the need to go down into the engine compartment to power up the boat. A real bonus for the crew on a daily basis.
