FPY 70S — Fountaine Pajot Yachts: experience the ocean in a different way

A 22-metre yacht designed for living at sea

The FPY 70S sailing catamaran from Fountaine Pajot Yachts is not defined by its dimensions, but by what it makes possible: a different way of being at sea, combining complete freedom of navigation with the comfort of a a floating home tailored to your tastes.

Conceived on the drawing board of the naval architecture firm Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, The FPY 70S draws on the experience gained by the La Rochelle-based shipyard on its larger vessels, distilling the essence of that experience into a 22-metre hull. The result is a yacht that Every space has been meticulously designed, without sacrificing the pleasure of sailing for the sake of luxury.

A fluid bridge design

It is not so much its size as the continuity of the spaces that stands out. From the foredeck to the flybridge, everything flows on naturally : you move from one place to another seamlessly, without any obstacles or interruptions.

The foredeck, with the trampoline removed, becomes a fully-fledged outdoor lounge area: featuring a built-in spa, modular seating and a spacious sun deck. This area is accessible directly from the saloon via a front door that connects the interior and exterior.

The flybridge It serves as a private viewing point, whether you’re at the helm or simply lying back and watching the coastline roll by.

At the back, the cockpit It is divided into two distinct areas: a side lounge for socialising, and an outdoor kitchen for self-catering. It is the social hub of the boat.

A yacht that reflects your personality, from floor to ceiling

The FPY 70S is available in 8 configurations. Every owner builds their yacht according to their own vision of life at sea: between three and six guest cabins, a galley integrated into the hull or opening onto the cockpit, with crew quarters designed to ensure discreet and efficient service.

Fitted in the front position, The master bedroom enjoys an unobstructed 180° view and with a sense of space that rivals even the finest suites in coastal luxury hotels. A place of complete tranquillity, bathed in natural light, where the sea is ever-present without ever being intrusive.

Over 180 combinations of materials (fine woods, selected leathers, technical fabrics and bespoke flooring) allow you to give the yacht a look that reflects your personality.

The shipyard doesn’t just deliver a boat: it builds yours.

The crew have their own dedicated areas, including a captain’s cabin with an en-suite bathroom. This layout ensures high-quality service over the long term, in complete discretion: service of the highest standard is felt but never seen.

Absolute freedom: sailing and stopping without any restrictions

With its generous wingspan, The FPY 70S is designed for long-distance crossings.
Its offshore design enables it to tackle the Atlantic or the Mediterranean with equal ease, powered by an engine specifically designed for long voyages.

But the real luxury of the FPY 70S is what it offers you once you’ve dropped anchor. With solar power, a high-capacity lithium battery and a high-performance watermaker, Its energy system frees you from any reliance on the jetty.

Spending three days in an unspoilt cove, in complete silence, free from logistical constraints and the noise of a generator: that is precisely what this yacht offers. Autonomy here is not just a technical feature; it is a philosophy of sailing.

Who is this yacht for?

The FPY 70S is designed for those who refuse to compromise:

  • For the discerning browser for those who want a large boat without sacrificing the pleasure of sailing.
  • To the family which seeks to create a space where everyone can find their own place, from the master bedroom to the guest rooms and the communal living areas.
  • To anyone who runs a charter service, and who knows that an exceptional interior and impeccable crew organisation make the difference between a lovely memory and an experience people are still talking about years later.

This yacht is designed to last and stand the test of time, both in terms of the quality of its construction and in terms of its uses, thanks to the flexibility of its layout.
