For this 2025 edition, the Fountaine Pajot NEW 41 is one of the contenders in the Sail Cruising category ! It's a model announced for late 2024 that we like at Canet Boat Plaisance because it combines comfort and accessibility.
An entry-level catamaran designed for cruising
The New 41 has a modern, functional approach, in line with the shipyard's latest creations. The living space is well thought out for conviviality and circulation on board, with a great fluidity between the cockpit and the saloon.
Sailing-wise, she still has a beautiful, well-designed hull and a balanced sail plan. It may not be cut out for regattas 😉 but with its modest size, it's nonetheless very well thought out for cruising enthusiasts who want to sail without fuss.

The New 41 is therefore a serious contender in this election where the evaluation criteria are multiple.
Its competitors in the category include the C-Cat 38, Lagoon 43, Leopard 46, Bali 5.8, Sixty Solar sail and Max 44SC. It remains to be seen how it will stand out in the eyes of enthusiasts and the jury. In the meantime, it's up to you to follow the event and, why not, vote for your favourite!
