Fountaine Pajot MY 5 - Production completed

This model was launched in 2019 by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts. On 20 January 2021, the shipyard renamed its engine models, and the MY 40 became the MY 5.

The MY 5 is Fountaine Pajot's intermediate power catamaran, between the MY37 and MY44.
The interior of the MY 5 is the result of work by the firm Pierangelo Andreani Yacht Design. This designer, who had already worked on the MY 44, is renowned in the yachting and luxury sectors.

As with the MY 6, the hull of the Fountaine Pajot MY 5 was designed by Daniel Andrieu, a specialist in motor yacht hulls. This hull is extremely seaworthy and gives the yacht superb performance.

Designed for long-distance navigationthe MY 5 has a standard Volvo IPS 350 engine with 2 260CV motors. You can also opt for optional IPS 500 engine with 2 x 370CV motors.

For a fully equipped boat, you'll enjoy a beautiful cruising speed between 20 and 24 knots.

Spacious, comfortable interior

As with the MY 4.S, when compared with motor yachts of the same size, the MY 5 offers outstanding comfort and volume. The space is emphasised by the generous amount of light thanks to the large expanses of glass.

Facing the cockpit, it opens directly onto the outside through sliding doors. You'll love this full-width opening during the summer months!

The 360° panoramic view from the living room is impressive, and the wide sofas make it easy to take in all the different views. There is plenty of easy-access storage, particularly towards the front of the saloon.

CABINS AND BATHROOMS

The Owner hull includes a Master cabin of 7m2 with its private bathroom of 4m2.
The queen-size double bed is accessible from both sides and faces the sea. Its large window offers beautiful panoramic view50% wider than that of the MY 6.

The bathroom in the Owner's hull is spacious. It is equipped with a superb walk-in showerand also offers a beautiful view of the horizon.

La starboard hull includes

• a shared bathroom,
• a large 5m2 cabin with double bed,
• a another cabin of equivalent size, equipped with either bunk beds or a double bed.

A VERY SPACIOUS FLYBRIDGE

This large 16m2 flybridge is a great feature of cruising, particularly in the Mediterranean. The cockpit can accommodate two people, and has a double sundeck on the port side.
