The Bayliner V22 Bowrider, designed for a fun day out on the water

Le Bayliner outboard The V22 Bowrider is designed to let you make the most of day trips with family or friends. Announced in June 2026, it is making its first appearance in France at the Cannes Boat Show on Cannes Yachting Festival 2026.

What is a bowrider?

A bowrider is a motorised pleasure boat that is open at the front, where the deck is replaced by an open cockpit fitted with seating. It is the ideal type of boat for day trips, water sports and socialising. Thanks to its layout, it allows passengers to be comfortably spread out between the stern and the bow.

The Bayliner V22 Series has thought of everything

Like the rest of the Bayliner range, it has a distinctive modern style. It features sculpted hull sides and sporty lines.

The layout of the hull is designed to prioritise user-friendliness and ease of movement on board.

Designed for day trips out to sea with family or friends, it makes it easy to switch between relaxing moments and water sports, and to organise all the equipment brought on board. What’s more, thanks to its optimised design, it can carry up to 12 people.

The cockpit is really designed for outdoor living:

an L-shaped sofa,
two swivelling driver and co-driver bucket seats that rotate 180° so that they can turn to face the group or keep an eye on what’s happening at the back,
a large sun lounger,
deep storage under the sun lounger to load up the inflatables, toys and equipment.
a built-in cool box,
charging ports,
plenty of storage space under the seats, at the bow and in a dedicated ski/wakeboard storage compartment,
a bathing platform with a telescopic ladder,
a self-draining cockpit,
areas for installing leisure facilities (traction mast, comfort/tech/tower packages, Simrad digital instrumentation with VesselView link, Rockford Fosgate audio system, etc.).
