Cock-a-doodle-doo!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The popularity of cruising multihulls continues to grow, and there is no sign of it slowing down. The popularity of catamarans and trimarans was once again confirmed in Cruising World's election trials, with <strong>five models competing in the Cruising Multihull class<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not only a model <a href=\"https:\/\/canetboatplaisance.com\/en\/fountaine-pajot\/\" title=\"FOUNTAINE PAJOT Catamarans\">Fountaine Pajot<\/a> was voted this year's big winner, <strong>French shipyards were in the majority in the selection.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The boats competing in this category were :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fountaine Pajot Tanna 47<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lagoon 55<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Balance 442<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nautitech 44 Open<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Neel 43<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The secret assets of the Tanna 47<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the test, the jury was impressed by the boat's comfort, design and performance. The Tanna 47 is the only catamaran to have won this award, and has established itself as a new market leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What convinced Judge Herb McCormick were the <strong>performance <\/strong>and the <strong>handling <\/strong>the practical helm station, and finally the elegant styling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Judge Mark Pillsbury was impressed by the<strong>layout <\/strong>of the bridge first. <br>Then he liked the fact that the boat was<strong> Perfectly equipped for long stays on board<\/strong>The boat is equipped with numerous solar panels, a watermaker and plenty of space for food storage in fridges and freezers. <br>As with McCormick, the handling and performance of the Tanna 47 were also strong points for Pillsbury: <strong>with 13 knots of wind, the Tanna 47 was making 7-8 knots<\/strong> and the helm station is well laid out. Finally, he found the boat <strong>practical enough to be sailed solo<\/strong> or several.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Would you like to find out more?
