White Shark 240 SC Evo

The White Shark 240 SC Evo is part of the Sport Cabin series in the range. New for 2021, this outboard is an evolution of the White Shark 228.

A smaller model, it is nonetheless a Top-of-the-range Sundeck. This type of outboard is the most popular with customers, which is why French Boat Market, which now owns the brand, is keen to develop it further.

Nice developments, with interesting standard equipment

The new models have undergone a number of exciting changes, White Shark retains its inimitable good looks and performance assets. Of course, there's the beautiful integrated dolphin keel and the tulip-shaped hull with its deep 22° vee.

Jean-Jacques Coste, who was called in by FBM for the new modern design of this model, enjoyed creating the 240 SC Evo. He is particularly attached to the brand because he knew the founders of White Shark.

Manufactured in Bergamo, Italy, this boat is however built with French materialss. White Shark focuses on French expertise in all aspects of onboard equipment and deck fittings.

This outboard is fitted with a relatively comprehensive standard equipment (electric bilge pumps, non-slip floor, swim ladder, white/grey upholstery, bunk cushions, etc.). For fishermen, livewell, rod holder), and the the boat can be customised with a wide range of options (ski mast, adjustable steering wheel, electric windlass, saddlery, windlass, bimini, sunbathing cushions, marine toilets...)

White Shark 240 SC Evo engines

This model can be fitted with a XXL engine with 250 HP or 149 kW (recommended), up to 300 HP or 224 kW.

According to thesea trial of the White Shark 240 SC Evo by Stéphanie Deloustal for Voile et Moteur, the boat is sailing at 20 knots at 3,000 rpm. In these conditions, the fuel consumption is less than 30 l/h.

Access to the engine is via a passage on the port side. The innovative design has made it possible to move the engine back, which is mounted on a bracket, gaining 35cm on the rear cockpit.

On either side of the engine, you'll find two beautiful bathing platformsanda breeding ground.

A user-friendly front deck

Access to the bow is via port and starboard gangways.

As on the 228, there is a generous sunbathing area surrounded by a balconyThe davit on the integrated dolphin winch and the self-draining anchor locker.

Practical cabin

The cab of the White Shark 240 SC Evo adds a Generous storage space. It is accessed from the cockpit with a sliding door to port. The height under barrots at the entrance is 1.60 m.

Located below the boat's foredeck, there is a berth installed in the tip of the boat, measuring 1.60 m x 1.45 m with extension. There is space for marine toilets (optional).

Comfortable, multifunctional helm station

The station's fixed seats allow you to pilot comfortably seated or standing up, thanks to thefolding front seat.

Underneath the cockpit seats is a practical technical access to the electrics and batteries. 

Kitchen area

The kitchen area is compact located aft of the helm station. It contains a sink in the standard equipment.

To starboard of the helm station bench seat, you can choose to integrate a optional refrigerator.

An improved rear square

Thanks to the ingenious design of Jean-Jacques Coste, the rear cockpit is 35 cm longerby installing the motor further back on a bracket.

The rear square of the White Shark 240 SC Evo features a beautiful, friendly spacewith its removable table (optional) which sits in front of the L-shaped bench to create a spacious dining area.

Alternatively, a double bench seat can be folded out behind the cockpit seats alongside the galley area, to create a U-shaped seating area around the table for a more intimate dining experience. total of 6 guests.
